Jam Recipes

Here is my list of Jam Recipes.

Jams are one of the easiest things to make in the kitchen and are perfect for beginners. When you get comfortable in making jams you can start experimenting with flavor combos and intensity of taste.

Some of my jam recipes contain pectin and other do not. Some are more sweet while other are savoury. It all depends on what I want to serve them with and how I plan on eating them. Like the chili jam I made to go with Turkey leftovers or the Pear Jam with Rosemary I made to go with salty cheese.
On this list you will also find Homemade Applesauce, which is great to replace oil and butter in baking, and with a little sprinkle of salt, pepper and cinnamon goes great with soft cheese. So don’t let anything stop you in experimenting, find out what is best for you and your taste buds.

Jams are the best hostess gift there is. Everybody likes them, everybody eats them and everybody can make them! Glass jars are fun to decorate and you do not have to make a fresh batch for the present, just grab one from the shelf. If jams are in an airtight container and stored in a dark and cool place, they almost last forever.
