NY 02 – Pizza at Paulie Gee’s

We went to Paulie Gee’s in Greenpoint as a group of 10 on a sunday night and since we were there exactly at 5pm when they opened we got seated right away (When we left 90 min later there was a huge line). The space is raw but very cozy and inviting – also there was a skylight window right above our table which made us all look like dutch paintings. The service was great and Paulie himself stopped by our table to say hi and chat. We all ordered different pizzas and then we shared and traded slices across the table, and seriously everything I tried tasted heavenly. The selection of pies is big, very modern and refreshing – pickled grapes, spicy honey, anisette drizzle and homemade vegan sausage are all things you will find as toppings at Paulie Gee’s. So for all you foodies and pizza enthusiasts out there, make a stop in Greenpoint and treat your taste buds.
