Some might say that New Year’s Resolutions are bullshit and that nobody ever keeps them.
Well that might be true, but I believe that January is the month of new beginnings (maybe because I am super well rested and energized after the holiday season) and I do love to tell my self that I can do better than last year and that it is never to late to learn something new.
One of my favorite blogs out there is elephantine, it is a beautiful and elegant blog with very interesting posts. Few days ago I read that every year Rachel, the woman behind the blog, makes a list of what to look forward to instead of a resolution list. I love that idea so this year I am trying that.
Ps: Last year I posted a helpful list on how to set goals and how to keep them.
In 2013 I am looking forward to:
★ Learn to appreciate lentils and find a way how to make them delicious
★ Master the difference between a chocolate souffle and a lava cake. Seriously if you whisk your eggs a little to much or bake the lave cake one minute to long it turns into a souffle. I will nail this, I know I can
★ Eat more salad
★ Practice the virtue of patience
★ Not over-think and over-plan EVERYTHING
★ Do more yoga
★ Do the Plank for 2 minutes
★ Run 10 K
★ Not to eat in front of the TV as much as last year
★ Dance a lot more
★ Travel for my photo-project Family Vacation
